The Door

Lots of chaos goes on behind this door because we have a little girl who is almost 1 YEAR old. Hard to believe it's been that long already; it feels like we just brought her home from the hospital yesterday! Sianna loves to see how gravity works by pulling DVDs and books off the shelves, and she's fascinated with Ziploc bags (she's redecorated our kitchen floor many times with them and boy are they slippery!) and toilet paper. She's also experimented with being a kitty; she has drunk out of the cats' water fountain and nearly tasted kitty kibble before mommy could stop her (daddy just stands there laughing and wondering where the camera is so he can get a picture or video of it).

Rachel and Bryant (Fallbrook)

Behind our door is a huge mess, but its created by good times with friends and family, and being overly tired from a baby that doesn't always sleep.

Dace and Charis (Cypress)

Behind this door, there is much to behold
A love so precious, more valuable than gold.
So many possibilities we have yet to see,
behind this door, may come the first "mini me"!
A place to create good times with friends & family,
this couple shares their coffee with creamer happily.
This door will most likely not be the last,
but one of many holding cherished memories from the past.

The First Door
This is the door that the Krause family has entered and exited for 22 years. 3 children grew up behind this door and now bring families back through this door. Behind this door are 2 people who love each other and enjoy welcoming others inside! Oh the stoires this door could tell.......

So the entire clan drove up the hill off a beaten path (last 1 1/2 miles dirt road) for a few days of outdoor camping with all the traditional events. We did it all, campfire, tents, sunshine, hiking, reading, campsongs, sitting under trees, roasting marshmellows, holding babies and talking.

July 2011

Summer has arrived to Cypress-very warm. Tim was able to capture a pic of the Baker Hawk that flies around our park and sometimes lands on our telephone pole.

Last week Bryant and Rachel moved to Fallbrook. We all filled a bucket with our sweat moving boxes and furniture up and down stairs. Our favorite moments of course holding Anabelle and enjoying her. Rachel and Bryant are doing well with parenthood. You can see pics on FB on moving day.

Dace was the first one to notice that the Krauses in Fallbrook have the same apartment number as the Hueftles.

So Dace will start his new job as a Senior Contract Associate on monday...way to go Dace!!!

Kevin and Jeffry have been spending the week here enjoying So Ca. and visiting the cousins. Hopefully they will FB some of their pics for you. Tomorrow they plan to jump off a bridge...will try to capture the moment

All children: you are requested to send me a pic of your daily work for our next blog! Due 7-14

Blog Poll Results

So the family is split: 4 of you like email updates and 4 of you like blog reports with 1 facebook soul. So that leaves me to do both. Of course I will only do this when I feel in the mood.

Our life update:
Tim is recovering from back injury and bronchitis. Hoping is back will be ready for Bryants big move this weekend. I am finally having a day off after working the last 5 in a row. Hurry up sunshine so I can spin on my bike.

OK: just returned from my bikeride to the lighthouse. When I left the house, the sun was out. As I approached the beach, overcast and no sun. When I arrived at the lighthouse the sun came out. When I looked up, there was a hole in the cloud covering...pretty awesome!
