A skunk, a shuttle and a free book
So what do these things have in common? Just a few things that crossed my vision and got to proclaim, 'wow!. Now the skunk...with respect, he or she caused me to slow down and move off the path of our park were I jog. My co-workers wanted to get my boss to move our meeting to the roof so we could watch the historic flight of the shuttle. Up on the roof we peered into the sky and finally saw the sight which you have seen on the news. And the book I'm reading? It's called the Longing and it's yours for free. It will warm your heart to read the truths.

Convict Lake 2012
Dace, Charis, Char spent the weekend backpacking East Sierras. More then 16 miles, 3,000 feet elevation climb, boulder hopping, very difficult switchback trail over rocky traine, took us to 10,000 feet lakes of beauty and quiet. While pictures can't let you feel the breeze, or gaze the 360 view, you can glimpse a moment of our experience. Also, give thanks that God kept our ankles and knees strong and steady on the trail.

Kona 2012
Our pics are unable to reflect all of our time since most of our days were spent in or near the ocean. Of course we hiked the rainforest, waterfalls and volcano but our highlights were snorkling with the fish, kayaking and snorkling with spinner dolphins leaping into the air and watching children on the beach. We never had the camera on those days.
Thanks to you tube- this is what we saw.......
You can stay nice and dry and see some of the fish we saw right here:
(thanks to whoever filmed the underwater fish)

you can also see exactly what we saw with the dolphins here without getting wet. It's long so skip to the end to see the jump out of water.

Whee...Whee... Wheeeeeeeeeee!
What makes you go, "Whee...Whee...!" Like this little piggy?
up.https://youtu.be/XFxllgA32ug
What the family say......
Tim: closing a deal!
Rachel, What makes me go whee? Watching Annabelle grow up. Going by so fast!
Lauren: playing with Sianna of course! She has definitely helped me learn to enjoy life more. Someone told me to think of how I would treat her in a certain situation I'm facing and then extend the same grace and love to myself. I would sure treat her a lot better than I treat myself! That new attitude has helped me put things in perspective and enjoy my time with her.
Jerrol: playing with my daughter and coming home to her hugs
Char: Spectator to heart transformations
Dace: Payday! Joys of marriage- weaving!
Charis: when I'm able to be outside in God's creation, in the sunshine, to be moving and exploring, is what gives me the wonder and delight of a child. It renews and refreshes my intimacy w my Lord. The other weeee I get is when I'm working and get to actually see firsthand positive results in patients I work with. This could be anything as simple to catching something that either prevented complications to advocating for my patient, to having "ah-ha" moments, or even something simple as discharging a patient and teaching them about "xyz" and getting a big thanks. The opportunities I see and get to be involved in can be really intimate and amazing.
